Review on Sofa Shield Reversible Protector Furniture Home Decor by Sarah Mills

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's decent, but the back always falls.

I only give 3 stars. I would like to say that this was the solution I was looking for but there is one major design flaw, even with the tape running around the sides at the back to hold the top up, the top keeps slipping after a while still on the seat and not enough to keep it. I'm going to sew some fabric loops or tubing to the top back for the elastic to slide in and this should keep the back cover from falling off. I renew this thing every day! Even on the days when no one is sitting on it, my medium sized dogs aren't that heavy, but somehow their backs sag when they're sitting alone on the couch. My sofa is not leather or slippery fabric, it has a good grip on the fabric. I wasn't expecting it to crash all the time, but it's actually not that hard a decision. I'm not a seamstress and I hate the idea that I can make this look silly but it doesn't work like it should. It would be great if the design were updated with a longer back with a strap tunnel in the future. It appears to be quite water resistant and is easy to put on and take off for cleaning. I really like the gray floral design that I used as well.
