Exploded after 2 weeks, rupturing my tank and causing a leak.
This unit has done a good job of maintaining the water temperature. However, after 2 weeks of installation, it exploded. A bubble has formed on its side and a capacitor may have exploded causing my aquarium to crack and leak on the bottom and side. I had a 2.5 gallon round glass aquarium. The fish survived!
