This grinder worked perfectly and I was very happy with it until one day when I got home I found it turned itself on and ground all the beans The bunker spills onto a table top. I thought it was an accident, but it continued. Called DeLonghi support and they said they would replace it once I sent proof of purchase. Sent, had to email them 3 times to get a response and finally they replied "We cannot confirm the warranty for your product. An item purchased from unauthorized third party sellers is in an unknown condition. Manufacturer's warranty is non-transferrable." Those typos are theirs, not mine, by the way. So I think they're saying they're not honoring the warranty because I bought it from Revain. So go ahead, buy it, but not if You need a guarantee And be aware that mine broke after just a few months of not daily use And maybe keep that in mind for anything you buy from Revain - I definitely will.
