Bought two of these 12.9 inch tablets to replace the 5th gen Ipad Air 2. There is a fairly significant difference in weight and size compared to the old iPad. It's great for gaming and reading, but I've already sent the iPad to Apple for repair or replacement. They replaced him. Cellular antenna is even worse. You would think that with all the dimensions it would have a large antenna. When I called Apple Support I was under the impression that this was a one-time issue, but the new replacement is no better than the original. If I'm not in an area with 3 or 4 cell bands, this doesn't work. At home I use the original iPad Air 2 as a hotspot. I can replace the iPad Air 2's SIM card with a newer iPad and it won't connect, but the old one will do, so it's not a SIM or carrier issue. Very frustrating and if I had known about this issue I certainly would not have bought this large iPad. In my opinion, the cost advantage is not justified.
