I've had better luck with Japanese camellia oil and/or boiled flaxseed
Pretty odd use case for me, but I've heard it was an oil option for unpainted wooden Japanese practice swords (bokken/bokuto). . I don't think it really gave the result I was looking for, although it was nice to sniff, laugh. I've had better luck with Japanese camellia oil and/or boiled flaxseed. Okay I can throw it on some other furniture I think.
