I've been looking for my favorite natural deodorant for a long time. I've been using Tom's for ages, but over the past few years it hasn't seemed as effective to me. I tried a baking soda deodorant that I liked until I developed a sensitivity to baking soda. I've tried a salt stick, which is effective at times but isn't strong enough for sweaty days. I saw this while doing my research and decided to give it a try. Here's what I think: Pros: It's natural. So far it seems to be working legally and doesn't need to be re-applied for like Tom always does. It has a fairly pleasant smell (but also see the cons below). t slimy, i had no irritation from it. Cons: Doesn't smell like vanilla. That's my biggest problem with him. I was expecting a nice smooth vanilla scent, but to me it just smells like Melaleuca. It's okay if you like it, but it's a bit floral-scented for my taste. It's tough enough that it might not hold up in a very cold temperature if your skin isn't damp.
