About 8 years ago I had a total shoulder prosthesis but recently the pain has returned. Ortho pointed out bursitis and recommended compression. This sleeve works better than any other compression shoulder strap I've tried. I have a few issues with it that prevent me from giving it a full 5 stars.1. Even XXL is too small for me. I'm not huge, but I'm a full-size grown male (53 chest / 18 biceps). At the end of the day, it can shrink a lot around the biceps, and the velcro straps for size adjustment can itch even through a t-shirt. You can use a slightly wider band around the chest or a little more padding. This is usually pretty convenient, but at the end of the day I can dig a bit. Overall, it has given me more relief than any other bandage or medication.
