I made this with a class of preschoolers. They had to go individually (since they were so young) and we used a hair dryer. Plan to spoil yourself at least 2 early - it's difficult to find the right amount of heat before you start riding; not enough and they'll break rather than roll, but too much and they'll become a sticky mess. Warm to the touch and slightly sticky worked best. Actually came with a lot of wick. This set made 30 small candles (1" thick x 4 high) with at least 10 more wax and wicks. Response to the smell was 50/50 - some (like me) liked the clean smell of beeswax, others found it awful .If you're in the second category just add some essential oil.Remember the harder you roll the more wax you use - these were 3 year olds who didn't roll that hard.All in all a great purchase and I would do it again!
