At first glance the bag is well made, but after driving only 1000 km on a motorcycle I have to correct my rating. Firstly I'm not sure what "waterproof" is as the title suggests, I actually rode in the rain and everything in my bag got wet from not spending more than 20-30 minutes in a light drizzle on the spent on the highway. However, my biggest complaint is that the straps don't hold up. Several times during my trip the bottom strap around my waist simply fell out of the friction based ratchet straps. It wasn't a plastic clip, it was the part where you tighten it. It's like the fabric is too small for the strap and doesn't create enough friction to stay taut. Finally, after only 1,000 miles on my back, the pack was showing significant signs of wear. When the backpack hits the back, the fabric rubs against the back and now it looks worn.
