I have purchased several recovery straps over the years and I'm always looking for the ones that have the extra stretch in them. There is a huge difference between the "cheep" ones that don't have any stretch and this one. I purchased the 3x30. I did this because I don't get stuck much anymore, but when I do, I do a damn good job of it and wanted the stronger strap with to recover a suburban. You may want to talk with other, but if you have lighter equipment, you may want the smaller strap to get the most out of the stretch. Over all very happy with the clevises and the carrying case to keep it all together in the truck.
