Like any audio system, the system needs to be tuned and room conditioned to produce audiophile sound. It's no different. I looked at half a dozen other speakers and kept coming back to them. I couldn't find anything better in this price range. The biggest problem is that I now hear the weaknesses of other sound systems I have after setting everything up. The RP 8000F speakers go very well with the powerful RP-504C center speaker. Even with two 8-inch drivers, they still benefit from and pair well with a serious subwoofer.
