These pads are powerful and very effective compared to regular pads. They make it easier to remove stuck food, especially where conventional pads don't stand a chance. I recommend them as part of your dishwashing arsenal. The biggest problem with these sticks, in my opinion, is that they don't scratch. They work great on hard-wearing surfaces, but on any surface that can be scratched in our kitchen, these pads sometimes leave noticeable marks, even immediately after use and even on metal surfaces. Relatively spotless frying pans look the same as if they were cleaned with steel wool. I would recommend either using a different cleaning method or standard sponges for anything you don't need. Scratch. In my experience, these pads work great, but they leave their mark on almost anything.
