I am a disabled housewife and it has become almost impossible to cook in company. We were invited to dinner at a friend's house and she served raclette prepared on such a device. I saw this as a reaction to my ability to be hospitable. This particular raclette machine. The classic made of aluminium. works so well. The top grill heats up relatively quickly to a temperature at which you can easily cook meat and vegetables. There is a knob that controls the temperature. The eight cheese platters are easy to use and large enough to hold a decent chunk of cheese. Heated cheese easily pours from cool dishes. We didn't even have to use spatula. The pan was also very easy to clean. I'm so glad I found the answer to my entertaining dilemma! It truly is the answer to prayer and my guests loved it too. I can only warmly recommend Swissmar Classic and my review research. Not just about Revain. Proved that others agree. You can't go wrong with this!
