I have a very narrow but wide room and my system is against a wide wall. I use a 301 for my extreme left/right with my 40 year old wonderfully beautiful Polk RT12B as my main left/right. I also have 2 Polk subwoofers. The main reason I replaced my Far L/R speakers with these is because the position of my Far Left speaker was compromised to get into the bathroom without bypassing a bulky speaker hanging from a bookshelf. With the T301, I was able to position it better without getting in the way of the bathroom door. My wife liked them so much that she asked me to buy a surround back kit which I would use the T101 for and I bought the T301C to replace my rather bulky center speaker. They look very nice, very solid (heavy) and I would have no problem using them as the main speakers in a secondary listening room if I had at least one good subwoofer that supports 150Hz and below. Have fun while listening!
