Excellent for such a thin profile!

Excellent sound for such a thin profile. Don't expect the same depth as $2,000 floorstanding speakers, but you'll be pleasantly surprised when they hang on your wall and churn out all manner of raw material. .

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • unreliable

A wise choice of elegant wall speakers

Beautiful and really great sounds. We have a KEF 7.1 system in our entertainment room so we were very happy to find such streamlined speakers for our large room. The bottom could be a bit bigger, but we understand that you have to sacrifice something for a thin, wall-hugging and elegant design.

Pros
  • Absolutely stunning!
Cons
  • is embarrassing

Big sound in a small package

Exceeded expectations! They're really thin, only an inch and a half thick, and easily attach to the wall for a very discreet look. They sound very powerful with an amazing amount of bass. I have a couple of T101s which are amazing on their own, but the second bass driver on this T301 is remarkable. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • So far so good

The sound you expect from flat speakers

Had to replace my Kef i90s as my 1 year old was too close. Use them with my Onkyo NR709. So I stuck with kef and installed them on my wall next to my TV. Installation was easy. But I don't get the full sound I was looking for. They do their job. I think that's what you would expect from a low profile. But they look great. I'm just afraid of turning it up too loud. I have a feeling they can hurt.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

KEF T301 speaker speaker

I have a very narrow but wide room and my system is against a wide wall. I use a 301 for my extreme left/right with my 40 year old wonderfully beautiful Polk RT12B as my main left/right. I also have 2 Polk subwoofers. The main reason I replaced my Far L/R speakers with these is because the position of my Far Left speaker was compromised to get into the bathroom without bypassing a bulky speaker hanging from a bookshelf. With the T301, I was able to position it better without getting in the way…

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons

Brilliant! You won't regret giving these

There's certainly something to worry about when you're looking at these thin, flat speakers. I hope this review will give you food for thought. I don't need to talk about her looks. They're just beautiful, and together with a flat screen TV, they're just amazing. People will see them and ask a lot of questions. The most important thing is the sound. Perfect. They are mounted flat against the wall and are acoustically designed to propagate the sound in all directions. I've seen questions about…

Pros
  • testers high marks for support and longevity
Cons
  • Poor set

Great sound and great looks!

Absolutely love these speakers! Very clear sound. Due to my block walls, I couldn't install built-in speakers for the left, center, or right speaker. I tried KEF 301c and was very impressed. I used the KEF Ci200Q built-in speakers for the ceiling and surround back speakers to complement my 5.x2 Dolby Atmos system. To complete my system I needed a subwoofer. I tried the KEF T-2 subwoofer. It was very clear but not loud enough to fill my 20 x 35 foot room with bass. My search included the loud…
