I installed the slimline in our 2015 Keystone Outback just above the shower. This thing is solid and looks great (brushed stainless steel). To lock it in the extended position, simply screw in the crown (where the line exits). Everything is smooth without binding. When retracted, the spring is fixed and can easily return to the assembly when loosened or released. So be careful when entering. Installation was easy and there are very few kinks when hanging anything on it. We recently switched to large body towels in our camper due to their light weight and compactness, and even when wet, these large towels hardly bend the line. I've also hung jeans from it, and although this rope was much heavier, it never budged. I also made sure that both ends (structure and line) are embedded in a strong bolt. After a month of use, this clothesline (extended or rolled up) looks and feels like new. I want to live off it for a few years.
