Review on AlumaFoam 11012 39230 Finger Splints by Richard Cartner

If you pull it out of the box on a child's finger it could probably cut/bleed as is. This is a good quantity and price, but the edges will need to be sanded or covered with medical tape before use. This is not good for medical devices as people might be in a hurry! As a test, I rubbed it several times on a folded paper towel. It left a dark streak (like small particles) but once I did it was smooth enough to use (so it's not a waste of money but be careful, test before use!). Again overall happy with the product but it was a minor inconvenience.
