Fits my slim 15 inch laptop; the lead below could be more
I put my laptop on it and set it to the maximum setting. Screen height was good. You have to hold the laptop by the stand to release the cables (no big deal.) The bar holding the laptop could be a bit bigger; My laptop just seems to fit and I'm a little afraid of it slipping off. I wouldn't try my 17" in the thread. In terms of width, I think the stand will fit, but I don't think the protrusion will be enough, especially given the curvature of the laptop's base.
