They are pretty easy to use just remember to pinch the hole when you take them out or you will pull your hair out lol I have them for used for the first time. Times about 7 hours before this check on freshly washed hair. I left them for a little over an hour, maybe an hour and a half. (My hair is very fine so it doesn't take long to dry.) When I first took it off I had cute little curls, but after about 20 minutes my hair was more like barrel curls, which was nice. (My hair doesn't like to hold up. I lost the lottery.) As I said, it's been about 7 hours and I still have really nice barrel curls, although I have to try to sleep. I definitely didn't think it through. but speaking of; I've seen people say you can sleep in it, but I don't know how. I leaned my head against the wall and felt uncomfortable every time I moved my head. I can't imagine sleeping on it! All in all great if you want to try curlers but don't want to spend money on a curler. They seem to work just as well and are actually easier to use than I thought.
