Honestly, anyone who calls their product a "new try" obviously means the old try didn't work very well. Despite the fact that the elevator went up, everything about its control system is complete nonsense. I pushed the auto limit switch once (and not very hard) and from that moment on the internal circuitry blew because I basically thought down was up and up was down. Obviously this less-than-intuitive control system was annoying until it decided to just die on the job while I had a few CMUs in the air. I've only used it a few times and it's now $250. In principle, this thing raises, but the control system is garbage. Buyer Warning. Then again, I hate seeing how much an American-made McMaster-Carr product costs. Having said that it has been an absolute lifesaver on several jobs as I said just before leaving, glad I bought it, wish I had spent more on a quality product - this is not the lift for you.
