After 4 months in the trash

I bought this watch on March 3rd, 2016 and I'm throwing it in the trash on July 13th, 2016. The watch was in perfect condition. However, I only use it as an alarm clock. I don't use radio, projector, nature sounds etc. I use USB to charge my phone and I like the dual alarm setting. I have a weekday setting and a weekend setting. I have to say that I really like this feature. When we switched to daylight saving time, I doubted the clock would change automatically, but it did. I also like the alarm clock. They start out soft and gradually get louder. What I hate is that even though the watch has the features I need, the watch itself is a piece of junk. I don't have to throw it away after 4 months. Suddenly, the clock had a nasty habit of forgetting about daylight saving time. Several times over the past 3 weeks I have found the clock to be 1 hour slow and have fixed the issue. Last night while I was sleeping it was turned back an hour. Needless to say, when the alarm woke me up this morning I thought the sun was a lot brighter than it should have been. It turns out it was. I woke up exactly an hour later than I wanted. Aside from waking up an hour later, I couldn't turn off the alarm either because all the buttons stopped working and weren't responding. So I had to tap my hand on the clock like tapping rabbit ears on an old TV to get the signal. Since I can no longer trust this watch, it ends up in the garbage and I'm looking for another one. Shame on you Sony. Their products were the Cadillac of all electronics. Now you will go south.

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • I don't have a huge aversion to it, everything is fine
