I stumbled across this button set while looking to polish up my DS4 and clicked it after comparing it to other sets. Installation was pretty easy, but only because I've been opening up the controller lately to clean it and try to play around with the capacitive/conductive band. A beginner might struggle and there are a few things to note, notably the ribbon cable to the lower half of the case and the easily breakable clips around the EXT port. My main issue/complaint is that the only mid-length sticks have an extremely smooth bulbous top. I'm poking around to see if it can be traded for one of the others. In addition, the magnet on one of the rod feet is rather weak. I think this could become a problem in the future. Will update if anything else comes up. Update: I couldn't find a way to swap out the embroidery heads, so keep in mind that the only middle ones will be the smooth round ones. " was definitely pretty loose due to the lack of contact area over the magnets. I actually solved this problem by cutting tiny pieces of metal ties and using some glue to stick them in the gaps. Did the trick perfectly!
