Review on TP Solar10 Portable Maintainer Cigarette Alligator by Justin Spoja

The panel did not charge my car (Acura MDX). As with most people, the cigarette lighter turns off when the car is turned off. I found a permanently on fuse and connected it to a fuse tap. I have noticed that my battery voltage is constantly dropping. Using barrel shaped 5.5x2.1 connectors I made an adapter to measure current. In decent sunlight it was only 10mA. I used the battery clips that came with the panel and connected them directly to my battery. 600mA or about 7W. Apparently my car has a diode or something that makes it impossible to charge with the circuit always on, it must be a direct battery connection.
