Way better than what the vet gives you.

This was absolutely what we needed. The cone my vet sent my guy home with was longer, harder, less see through, and all around miserable. The first two pics are what he came home with. The second two are this cone. It is light years better.Buddy had two teeth extracted and six skin tabs removed; four on his face/head and two on his neck. Our concern was that he shouldn't scratch his face/neck and that was what we were protecting, so keep that in mind. If your dog has other issues, can't speak to those.Buddy didn't sleep the first night, despite all the medicines he was on. As he tried to get comfortable, the hard cone and its edge pressed his neck, and he kept standing up. I am a nervous doggy mom and wanted to follow exactly what the vet said, so was hesitant to change. But he was miserable.I wanted a smooth cone as he has stitches on top of his head, so fabric and one's with seams were out. Also, ones that fit the head won't work because he has stitches right above an eyebrow. This cone is as smooth or smoother than the vet one. A little more flexible (not so muck that it is usless, just enough to flex around his face so he can sleep) It has fabric around the neck for comfort, and fabric around the edges, so it can glide across linoleum rather than scraping it.For a dog with face problems, it was better than we hoped. And we got it same day for an extra $3 (worth it).Just mad my vet didn't offer it as an option or suggest it as a reacement. Best $20 I ever spent. ❤️
