Good quality but worth it $$

Well made, looks good. But $40? The standard antenna got bent in the car wash, and since I don't have time to wash the truck by hand at the weekend, I decided on a "short" antenna. The .50 caliber round looks a hell of a lot better than rubber, so I went with it. I'm not worried about reception as I never listen to terrestrial radio, but I need an option. My only concern was that the car wash would put so much stress on the antenna that it could pull the antenna mount out of the fender. It helps. I saw a copy of the cat on the IG listing for $30.
