Review on πŸ”— Versatile Rope FID Pusher: Ideal Tool for Splicing & Fitting Ropes of Various Diameters - Available in Sizes 1/4 to 1 Inch (1 Count FID) by Juan Anderson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Wrong size, poor quality

The sizes on it and even the dimensional grid are complete nonsense! FID "9/16" is not 9/16 OD or ID and is not rated for 9/16 rope. It's actually .385" ID and .468 ID. The table shows that you can use this feeder with 1/2 inch rope. I would pay money to see someone try this! Seller only needs to provide actual ID and OD and we can buy what works. Based on the information we have no way of getting the right size. The second problem is that the hole for the rope is not even cleaned. It is cut diagonally on the saw and left that way. You'll have to spend some time with a thin round file or a dremel tool to fix this thing before you can even use it. I bought 3 sizes and none of them come close to being the right size or unfit for use without packaging. Sizes we hope will help future buyers: 3/8 = .310 OD x .240 ID 1/2 = .405 OD x .340 ID 9/16 = .468 ID x .385 ID

Pros
