I wanted to attempt this style myself because it’s so cute and lasts long! I am a full time college student so I’m usually in a crunch at this time of year with school fees and did not want to pay the $230+ that could potentially be charged for a stylist to do it (PLUS BUYING THE HAIR YOURSELF!) I didn’t want to go through the hassle of having to extend 2 shorter locs to make them super long, so I went ahead and hunted down these 24” faux locs to install. First of all, they are 24” in the pack, but with the wrapping technique I used, they easily extended to 28”. I wrapped my hair with the loc itself and then wrapped over the loc with a small piece of Afro twist hair. If I wrapped down the full length of the loc, I could easily have over 30” with the way these stretch. Ultimately, I ended up using just 3 packs of hair. They are beautiful, and natural looking— they are a good natural texture as well, not at all scratchy nor do they have a super synthetic feeling. No synthetic smell at all! I would definitely pay someone to do it next time just because it took me so long to part my hair and install since I’m an amateur at these types of things lol. Despite that, I am very pleased with my results and I highly recommend this hair!
