Although this is the correct PCV valve for my 2003 Ford Ranger 2.3L, the height of the block in the seated position was so great that you could not reach the holding ring to sit securely. I compared it to my OEM Motorcraft PCV valve and the Motorcraft PCV valve was about 1-2mm shorter which made a big difference. It appears that the QA tolerances on this product are not as tight as they are on Motorcraft's PCV valve.
