Review on LG Electronics Portable External GP40NB40 by Matthew Davenport

The product broke after about two weeks of infrequent and careful use. The hard drive is no longer open. I tried contacting LG support to send it back as it has a one year warranty. Your service request was difficult to fill out and didn't appear to be asking for the correct information as I had to submit multiple requests before I was finally able to submit it. All I got was a few emails saying I didn't have the information I needed or that my request was "pending". It has been several months since this letter was processed and I have not received a reply. When they say it's guaranteed, they don't seem to mean it. I gave this one a star because it broke so easily for no reason (I didn't drop it or damage it), because LG's service was so bad, and because their warranty was clearly not up to par. I strongly recommend not purchasing this product.
