Update: I took this wetsuit out for 18 dives last week in Roatan Honduras and it worked well. It was very easy to put on and take off and, for the most part, I didn't even think about it when I was diving. The only advice I would pass on is to make sure you have the Velcro tabs secured properly at the top of the zipper. There is a small tab to secure the zipper and then a larger tab to secure the neck. If those aren't secured properly you could feel the Velcro on the back of your neck while diving. This is easy to do and I was easily able to adjust while underwater. Once I had the tabs secured properly it was very comfortable and I went back to not noticing that I was wearing the suit.So right now this review is just based on how it fits brand new. I won't get it into the water until a few weeks from now so I may update this review later. I am 5'7" and weigh a stocky 170 pounds. My chest is a 41 or 42 and my waist is 32-ish. For all practical purposes this weight is carried in my chest/torso as I don't have a particularly big gut. I purchased the L size and it fits well. It's very snug but from the generic wetsuit sizing videos I found online that's the way it is supposed to fit. It's tight around my collar but not so much that I can't get a few fingers between the suit and my neck. The legs end just above the knees and there is no appreciable excess material at the small of my back nor under my arms when they are down. But it does fit very snugly and, I think, if you are new to wet suits that is something to get used to. I did not feel my movement was significantly diminished. To be clear, it's not like I'm wearing a t-shirt and shorts! There is some restriction but not enough, I think, to cause problems while diving.I put my BCD on and everything seemed to be tight and comfortable. If there is one nitpik it would be that the zipper cord is just a bit too short. Another six inches would have made it much easier to grab reaching around the back. As it is I can do it but I have to grab it with one hand and then transfer it to the other in order to get my shoulders in position to pull it up. Not terrible but the rentals I've used in the past all had longer zipper cords.Time will tell how well it holds up to use but I won't use this more than twice a year so I think it should be fine for a while.
