The check valve is actually made of plastic and not brass.

misleading description. Only the outside of the valve fitting is made of brass. Actually, the piston of the check valve is plastic, which will probably break soon, just like my old plastic piston. Had I known that, I would have paid less than half the price for an all-plastic model.
