I was glad to install these for my child's kitchen unit as sometimes the cupboards, stove etc can be dark. I connected 3 new Duracell AAA batteries and the light went out immediately, nice. does this show it worked correctly? After placing a few of them in different locations, I noticed a few things. - Light flickering (2 of 3) - The motion sensor is terrible. I can try to wave and move objects in front of him. it turns on maybe 10% of the time, if at all. I'm not sure how they work, but I've used many other motion sensors and they are by far the worst. I bought 2 sets, all 6 work the same so I'm pretty sure they're not lemons. They only work when the lights in the room are off, and then the motion sensors are a little better at detecting movement. They may need to be placed in rooms/areas where there is no light. Anyway it doesn't work for what I need. Brightness is ok. Not very dark and not super bright. If you need it as a wardrobe, you may need several. They act more like a tiny spotlight rather than illuminating an area. I will return it to get another one. If you intend to use them where there is even the slightest amount of light, don't. They only seem to work in the dark and it's not even 100%. On the way to the next world.
