*UPDATE Monday 8th July *Downgraded from 3 stars to 1 star. Took this to Joshua Tree National Park on Saturday June 29th. Screw caps are not good. Sometimes you can accidentally unscrew the lock from its place. And it doesn't tighten when you turn it clockwise to tighten, rendering it useless. Because then the tripod will not stand. You're twisting it forever when you realize the twist lock is disconnected from the tripod leg. Putting it all back together in the dark was a nightmare, mind you I was standing on huge rocks and could lose my balance and fall. Twist locks look fancy, but I'll come back to cam locks, sorry. I would like to thank Mardita at Revain Customer Service for allowing me to return this tripod after the return period closed on Saturday 6th June. Too many problems for a $300 tripod. I've had enough. It was less than a month. When I first used it I tried to fold it and the plastic lever that you have to press before folding your leg didn't move. I left it alone and the next day everything was fine and I could roll it. And then it happened again yesterday, Wednesday the 22nd. I have a feeling the lever will eventually loosen up or stop working altogether. But overall it's a great tripod that fits perfectly in my camera backpack.
