It could be worse
At first I thought the remote control was broken out of the box But I've noticed the batteries aren't seated well and the bottom springs aren't making contact. I had to squeeze the spring a bit to get it to make contact. After that it worked fine. This happened with both remotes I ordered. Both worked after self-correction.
