I don't have a horse and don't need to use it on dogs as they are both short haired. I've been using this on ME for years. I have fine hair but lots of it per square inch which is great. Use little. I bought my first bottle over 7 years ago when my barber (who owns horses) said it was good for my hair. Popped in today to look for another bottle. Woohoo, thanks Raven. I bought my first bottle at the local Horse and Tack store and paid about $28 for it a long time ago. I also like to use it on arms, chest, shoulders, sometimes legs, neck and face. I love the scent and the feeling it leaves on my skin. I apply another moisturizer to my neck and face. Does that make me look younger? No, but I feel better using it right in the shower and just patting it dry. I love this stuff. I don't wash it out of my treated and colored hair, but I use very little so it doesn't feel greasy. Small things have a big impact.
