CERTRON Cassettes for Accessories and Consumables

CERTRON cassettes are cheaply made - by that I mean poor quality. They didn't have a quality control system, so many record-breaking failures lead to problems. It's the old 'you get what you pay for'. CERTRON products at bargain prices are not bargains. CERTRON went broke a few years ago which means these products have been stocked for years which can further degrade quality, especially on tapes. Example: An unheated/uncooled warehouse can damage the belt. Adhesive tape (especially roll tape without a protective cover) can rot. How were the tapes stored? In drawers upon drawers.? All that extra weight doesn't help. Don't invest $20 (at this price per seller) in CERTRON tapes. They're not worth it. Brands like MAXELL are well made and can be bought freshly made - without long storage delays. Most other media companies have discontinued blank cassettes, which keeps MAXELL in high demand as the only quality tape currently in production.
