I have never tried shampoo enriched with apple cider vinegar before using this shampoo. The smell bothered me the most when I bought it. I've tried using diluted vinegar as a tonic in the past, but I didn't like being able to smell the vinegar on my skin for a day afterwards. I don't hate the smell of vinegar, but I didn't like the idea of my hair smelling like this all day. You can smell the vinegar in this shampoo, but it's not overpowering or unpleasant. I have thin hair that gets greasy easily. This shampoo works well for gently removing oil from my hair without irritating or drying my scalp like other clarifying shampoos do. I'm not entirely sure if this shampoo promotes hair regrowth. I definitely notice that my hair is growing well along my hairline and I really feel like my hair is growing faster. However, I can't say that this product is solely responsible for this as I started using this product at the same time. I started using Olaplex regularly, stopped using hair tools and stopped using hair ties which damaged my hair and caused it to break. Overall I love this shampoo and will probably continue to use it because it cleanses my hair and scalp so gently.
