Before I bought the Bone Phone Charger Mount, I used my cell phone (iPhone XR) to track my rides with Runkeeper. After about an hour and ten minutes of driving, the phone's battery was drained to about 25%. Every ride on it will quickly drain the battery. In addition to the charging cradle, I bought a slim 10,000mAh portable charger and a short iPhone charging cable. Now when I travel for an hour or more, the phone keeps a 100% charge. In other words, he does what he claims to do. As for the fit of the charger - I have a Specialized Sirrus 3 bike and the mount sits comfortably and securely on the stem. The angle is perfect for the Runkeeper display and the mount looks great on the bike. Also, the iPhone XR fits snugly and securely in the holder. I would recommend this mount to anyone who needs to maintain a decent phone charge.
