Review on Tubeless Bike Tire Repair Kit For MTB And Road Bicycle Tires - Fix Puncture Or Flat, Plugger Tool & Strips With Storage Canister by Joe Mix

Nice quality kit in my review

I ordered this and gave it to a friend that just recently went tubeless. He hasn’t had a flat yet so it has not been tested in the field but I feel confident it will work great. The quality is top notch and the threads are buttery smooth. It comes with large plugs, small plugs and has a hole in one of the caps for Presta valve removal. The plugs are wrapped in plastic and stored in a second foil zip lock bag which should keep them fresh for a long time. I tried pretty hard to store all of the included plugs in the tube and had no luck but no worries, you can always take a couple of each out and store them in the tube easily. I probably could’ve gotten all of them to fit if I remove them from the bag but thought that might make them dry out quickly and stick to the tube.I have a patch kit that cost me $48 and I definitely do not think the added cost that I paid is worth it when you consider that this set is less than half the price. The kit I have is a better design and more compact IMO but as long as you are not concerned with bulk this thing will work great. I go on some pretty long trail rides and pack a lot of stuff so this kit is a little too bulky for me but that shouldn’t be an issue for most. I included a pic to show the size of this kit compared to the size of my over priced $48 kit and a pic to prove I’m a mountain bike prepper that needs all of the space saving I can find.

Pros
  • Takes up hardly any space in my camelbak ,weighs next to nothing
Cons
  • Broke after seconds of use... absolute trash. Rather expensive trash.
