I should have known something was wrong when I saw my cat's jaw stuck in it. Now I'm not a new pet owner. I'm not new to pet collars. I tightened the collar a bit to keep his jaw from getting stuck. My other cat has a collar from the store that isn't as thick as this one and has never had a problem. However, the thickness of this collar nearly choked my cat. Nothing was wrong and he behaved normally. Throw it off the bedside table because cats don't go there. Well, after about an hour or two, I look back and see that the collar is completely worn out. You can see where the collar is wrinkled from trying to scratch it, you can see the tight strangulation around his neck. I'm angry and almost lost my cat because of this. Please investigate. Get cute tear-off collars that actually come off. It's not like this.
