This product works exactly as it should. It suggests checking if the USB and AUX input are factory installed or at least professionally installed. My complaint is that it doesn't fit. I have a 2009 Tacoma and had to cut the plastic with a knife to fit the center console under the radio. After I inserted it into the expansion slot, it wouldn't snap into place. I plugged in the USB cable and when I pulled it out, it pulled the entire unit out of my console. To fix this I disassembled the dashboard and epoxy glued this component to the dashboard. NEVER come out again. It looks great and works as advertised.
