Works and fits well

Fits well in Toyota's small, shorter and wider shift point. The only thing I don't like is the connector that goes to the back of the insert. It has small thin pins with a non-directional plug. That seems very unreliable. The wires are good and thick and the other ends of the connector are good. Works well, Apple CarPlay and AUX also work with no issues.

Fits like. but works great!

Installed on 2008 Toyota Tundra Crewmax. As mentioned, they are not a perfect fit/direct replacement. I had to trim the rear a bit as it was too high for a tundra snatch knockout. Trimming took 2 seconds and it worked. It doesn't sit flush with the dash and intrudes about 1/4", but works fine with my Pioneer head unit with Android auto turn on.

Will not work or fit

Installed in a connector under the control box on 2011 Tundra. It had to be adjusted a bit, but it still didn't fit perfectly as it was placed lower than the standard buttons. Connected to Kenwood dxs4707s and it is not transferring data from my phone to the main unit, the phone shows connected and charging. but Kenwood did not see it. I connected the phone directly to the Kenwood and it stitched normally.

Not suitable for Toyota.

As per the other review for the Tundra installation, it will not fit the bottom console switch blanks in 2008-2015 Tacoma. It's too big for the hole, the clips holding it in place don't work with the Tacoma, and I had to trim the case (cheap plastic) to fit. I ended up gluing it on, hoping plugging and unplugging the USB cable wouldn't damage it. I don't have high hopes for that. I got it though, it doesn't cost more than lunch and I'll use it while it lasts. However, I would not buy it again…

Works but not perfect

This product works exactly as it should. It suggests checking if the USB and AUX input are factory installed or at least professionally installed. My complaint is that it doesn't fit. I have a 2009 Tacoma and had to cut the plastic with a knife to fit the center console under the radio. After I inserted it into the expansion slot, it wouldn't snap into place. I plugged in the USB cable and when I pulled it out, it pulled the entire unit out of my console. To fix this I disassembled the…

  • Makes me angry

USB did not work right away. I wish I could try that before I remove the radio. Update 1: 29.12. After playing around with it for a while and testing each pin on the back of the connector, it seemed like the problem was with the extension cord. I didn't pay attention to which direction it was attached because they are usually one sided. One direction is good, the other not so good. When I put it on with no power, it doesn't work in either direction. I looked at the pictures of the product…
