We own 3. Purchased from bangood for 80$ rtr with remote. That is cheaper than the equivalent motor from a hobby shop. They are simple a design but can be upgraded if desired. We have used 8x and finally had an esc quit coming on. The batteries that come with it are crap so expect to buy good batteries. Boats are so fast they will flip with any chop on the water. You must adjust the throttle down and turn down the rudder movement (both are knobs on the remote) for a novice or they will constantly flip it. Experienced drivers can turn it on a dime and get the tilt to keep it stable at FT. Metal rudders and props are available on bangood site also but we have only had an esc issue. Oh, stickers are cheapo and come right off. Its a good thing because they are put on crooked!
