I bought this solar kit to charge 2 small 12v batteries in my kids 12v cars in my shed. I connected them to use the SAE connector so I could use the car charger in the garage (worked perfectly for 2 years) or use this solar charger so I could take them out of my garage. Yesterday I swapped the charging cable from one car to the other to make sure they were both charged. This morning my 5 year old went for a walk and found them both dead. Upon further investigation the SAE extension cord and all the wires going to the batteries were fired and both batteries were welded to the point where they were swollen and ready were about to explode. They became overcharged, causing a short circuit and melting. Revain credited me with the panel but I still don't have 2 batteries and all the wires and connectors burned out between them. I am very fortunate that I still have a barn that also has gas and electric appliances. It could be very bad. x trip. I'm still waiting for new batteries to see if the motors burned out too or not. I will then continue to update. Their customer service was easy to work with and although the contact number for 24/7 customer service was not given, they reply daily.
