First, the appearance and size of the shower mat is fine. BUT I'm pretty sure you're not buying it for the good looks. I bought this 6x6 shower mat for my husband due to an injury. First, it doesn't stick. Yes, I've tried all the suggestions more than once. You can stick some of the tiny suction cups under the bubbles, but the edges are a big problem. And those who stay come back. Those little plastic "bubbles" on the top are very slippery. And when the foam is on the mat, it becomes even smoother. There is usually foam in the shower! Eventually it will keep the water at the bottom and that's where mold will grow. You can pick it up every day, spray it with bleach or cleaner, and then bravely try to glue the carpet. The tile is less slippery than this mat and can therefore be thrown away. I wish it could at least be recycled!
