Well you can sleep in it, no problem. They're pretty easy to put in. HOWEVER, the wire portion will sometimes get tangled in your hair, and good luck if you don't lose hair in the process, or at least spend too much time pulling the wire out. I've also tried them on dry, wet and damp hair, even going so far as to use a heat setting spray and blow dry it before bed. They gave me a limp curl that didn't last long and some hair didn't frizz at all. If I don't blow dry them, I wake up with wet hair and no curls. I have soft, fine, hard to curl hair and they haven't done me any good. However, kudos to Revain for once again providing me with excellent customer service when I asked for a refund.
