I guarantee you this will not work for 96 GTX. The adhesive side is on the wrong side! I sent the first one back thinking it might have accidentally tipped over and the glue applied to the wrong side. But when I got a replacement, it was the other way around too. I brought it up to the screen with the device on and was able to see the readings, so it wasn't my user error. The only way to make it work is to stick it on the bezel, not the glass. And even at this moment it is not very suitable. Causes large air bubbles. Terrible product but on a 30 year old jet ski this is pretty much your only option other than buying a used 30 year old sensor. DO NOT BUY THIS!
