I bought a couple of these for me and my wife and they work great. They run small, so buy one size larger than you intend to wear. The strap can be adjusted at the waist if it is too big. They tend to ride up my legs but I've gotten used to it and don't notice it anymore. However, they work when you hit hard snow. I think they are also suitable for skateboarding. I have bought three other brands in the past and none come close to this one in terms of quality. I would say these are some of the highest quality stocks I have seen in a store. I use them a few times a week and they still look brand new. I've worn out other brands within a month due to abrasion from snowboard pants and lifters. The padding is very dense but not too uncomfortable when lifting. They are great for reassurance as I have broken my tailbone in the past. I don't go out without her.
