Review on Topeak Mini 9 Pro Mini Tool with Neoprene Bag: Compact and Versatile Tool for On-the-Go Repairs by Jake Atonyo

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great Product: Sport

First of all, I'm a huge Topeak fan. I always look at Topeak first when I need a gadget. This mini tool was just what I needed to use with the pocketed RavX Tri-Bracket I had installed on my Cannondale Slice. Perfect with a spare hose in your storage bag! Simple essential tool, I like the folding tire lever (although of course it has to be used with care - Topeak sells 'spare parts' for all those tire levers etc which have a high chance of breaking - BUT - it works, as does the tire lever out Metal (I agree with other reviewers that it's metal, it needs to be used carefully not to scratch/damage the wheels - in some cases a boot can be used between the metal lever and the rim for protection - I've used, it worked on some Fulcrum 3 replacement drives, and it worked fairly well without scratching the drives - without using the case as a buffer.) Would there be a "5" if Topeak replaced the folding lever/metal lever with a heavier plastic lever would replace . "Mini Tool II" will do. !

Pros
  • Rugged Construction
Cons
  • No Automatic
