These look very similar to Infiland's tablet cases but cost twice as much which either means that Soke is selling a higher quality case than Infiland, or that Soke is trying to get potential buyers to believe that they were selling a better case and overpriced their product to give that impression. So what is it? The Soke case is heavier than its cheaper competitor and the material feels more durable and less smooth - Infaland has a sleek vinyl look, while Soke uses a textured material that feels more comfortable and offers better grip on the fingertips. Soke seems to be using higher quality materials which might justify the inflated price tag, so why isn't this case better? Both the Soke and Infiland cases have one very annoying trait - when you're lying on the couch or in bed. or when you're in the bath and using the tablet, you're probably holding it with your hands like you're holding a book. This places most of the tablet's weight on your hand, and soon the bottom flap of both cases begins to uncomfortably dig into your skin. While I can understand a $12 case with folding edges that dig into your skin, for $30 it's not much to expect a case with rounded edges that make it more comfortable to hold. 'does not fit properly in this case. The angled protrusions that hold the tablet in place have an uneven feel and give the impression that the tablet isn't flat and needs to be pressed down. And that impression has held true a few times so far, as when I pressed the edge of the tablet, I felt it move further into the case. Soke marks this case as shockproof, which means there's less chance of cosmetic damage if you drop your tablet. in this case, as if the tablet were naked. However, if you drop the tablet while using it, the display will be exposed and could crack or shatter from even a very small drop, depending on how the tablet actually lands. There is also nothing in this case's design to absorb shock if dropped, so your tablet could be severely damaged or completely damaged if you drop it. The Soke Folio Style adds significant weight and bulk to your Samsung tablet. S5e. For some tablet owners in need of protection this might seem reassuring, although for real protection they would be much better off using the Otterbox Defender case. Those who want a case with a fairly minimal feel should look elsewhere. As for the folio feature that turns this case into a media viewing stand that works quite well - there are grooves in the base that reliably offer a choice of two viewing angles. If you need a sharper corner than the two built into the design, the plastic tabs on the bottom two corners of the case should keep the tablet from sliding while lying on a flat, shock-resistant surface. This case can also hold the tablet in portrait mode instead of landscape, and the case works great with the auto-wake feature, which can be enabled in the Tab S5e's settings. Although this Soke case looks great and works well as a convertible viewing stand. There are media issues preventing me from making an enthusiastic recommendation. I'm sure you can find a better case, but you could do a lot worse.
